"You forget."
"Yes. I want to remember this time. I want to find you."
"You know where to find me?"
"I... don't know... I want..."
He drew her body to his... both were innocent of clothes in this realm. There is no need for them where we go when we leave our physical shells behind.
"I want you."
And he kissed her.

He kissed her here as he had always wanted to kiss her every waking moment. Her body melted against his, her legs losing strength. That thin, blue thread of light that sprung up into her chest whenever she thought about him in the waking world bloomed suddenly into bright flame. She felt somewhat faint, and inhaled deeply... his scent...
How can one smell in a dream...?
Is this real?
Dear Gods.... is this real??

She could feel. She realized this with sudden, absolute clarity. She could feel him.
She felt him lay her down in the soft grass.
She could feel his pale hands caress her shoulder... then her clavicle... her virgin's breasts...
And she felt him enter her.

Dulcet agony. Pure... righteous pain. It wasn't unpleasant... she welcomed it. Welcomed it again. And again. Oh, and again...
Pain melted seamlessly into bliss. She cried out his name, his true name, again. And again.
The exquisite climax made her feel as if she must die of it. As if her furiously beating heart had exploded from ecstasy.

Saure woke with a start. She was out of breath, and her heart was hammering as if she'd just sprinted all the way from Nora. Dawn blushed the horizon, but the sun had not yet breached the high hills to the East.

She held a quivering hand to her damp chest... realizing that was not her dampest region at the moment...

Oh dear Gods... that felt so real...
Her eyes welled with disappointed tears. They were little droplets of cruel ice as they ran down her burning cheeks. It was only now she noticed how bitter-cold it was. A chill breeze made the high grass dance.
"I knew your name... I knew it! Damn everything, I knew your true name!"
Saure wept bitterly. Fred, who lay with his back to her, had no more tears left to lament.

My love... she is so very close... yet she might as well be on the other side of Avarae. We may as well have an ocean between us, Sweetling. I don't know if we'll meet in the Land of Truth again.
